Here's how it works

We've found that most products fall into three tiers. Here's some examples!

Tier 1: Flat earrings

These earrings we designed for Eclection Boutique in Ottawa are an example of a tier-1 product: the shape is a fairly simple extrusion with minimal interfacing to other components.

Tier 2: Plant pots

These turtle pots we designed for a client are an example of a tier-2 product: the shape is composed of complex curves and the product requires a longer design and prototype phase to get things just right for production and sale.

Tier 3: Educational toys

This firefly we designed for Churchill School in Ottawa is an example of a tier-3 product: the shape is complex and requires tight tolerances, the product is composed of multiple components and subassemblies.
