HOW ARE 3D PRINTED OBJECTS MADE?

Carleton University newly renovated library is now home to the Discovery Center, a place on campus full of interesting furniture and high tech. Part of the technology offering is two 3d printers - Makerbot Replicator 2. We have helped setup and maintain these printers, along with giving presentations on the technology and how to best use it. The slides from one of the presentations is below. We will recreate the slides to a web friendly version with more text or an audio recording in the near future.
